Message from Hillary & Daria,

Hello All!

We recently returned home from our journey to the Philippines. After a two-week immersion program at the Preda House in Olongopo City, we are now armed with a clear vision and a strong commitment to raising awareness and compassion for the many exploited and abused children of the Philippines.

We had the opportunity to spend quality time with the 55 girls that live at the Preda House, the youngest being 7 years old. All of these girls have been rescued from sexual abuse in the form of incest and the illegal sex trade. We were also privileged to be a part of rescuing several boys from adult prisons. The jails are filthy and the boys survive with little to no food.

While there are thousands of innocents being victimized everyday whether it be by means of sexual molestation, rape, violence, illegal imprisonment and child prostitution, the work that we witnessed being done by Preda, Father Shay and his amazing staff, was more than enough to give us hope that these children can heal from their wounds and can fight their abusers!

We were able to immerse ourselves in the daily activities of the children…. School, counseling, activities and most of all, support and love from the staff at Preda. Having witnessed the kind of hope that is inspired through the efforts of passionate and dedicated people like Father Shay, we have decided to focus the efforts for our first project on dispersing funds to Preda, specifically to support the girls’ program for one year. Please visit the Current Projects page for more information, pictures and video. Thanks for all the caring support!!

With Love,

Hillary & Daria
